Cal Johnson was the son of Lucas Johnson and Maddy Johnson. Cal knew the Taelons had lied to he and his mother about Lucas Johnson's death because Lucas communicated telepathically with Cal. When his father's DNA was used to make Rho'ha a Hybrid, Cal and his mother were briefly taken hostage by Rho'ha until they were rescued when Lucas killed himself to save his family.
