The Church of the Companions is a religious organization devoted to the worship of the Taelons, or at least revering them as being divine messengers. It was founded by Reverend Travis Murray in the service of Da'an in order to help further the Taelon agenda on Earth.
After Julie Payton received her new hands from the Taelons, she became a revered member of the Church as a "living miracle" ("Miracle").
